G&R Heads West with IWTP
Chicago-based tech services firm Greenbrier & Russel has agreed to purchase certain assets of InnerWest TekPartners (WTP), a Littleton-based technology consulting firm employing about 60, for undisclosed terms.
G&R supports Oracle and Peoplesoft business intelligence offerings like data warehousing, intelligence infrastructure planning, project management and enterprise solutions. The company also provides change management and technical training services.
With IWTP, G&R acquires a Denver presence and expertise in infrastructure and application development, management consulting and technology support services. G&R currently operates in three Wisconsin locations -- Appleton, Madison and Milwaukee -- as well as in Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Minneapolis and Phoenix. Tthe company has also recently announced the opening of two new Oracle training centers in San Antonio and Austin, TX.
As we reported in late 2002, business intelligence has been an active M&A sector. Its recent deals include Informaticaís 2003 purchase of Striva, KPIT Cummins purchase of Panex Consulting and Business Objects purchase of Acta.
