Towers Perrin Furthers SAP Tech Services Consolidation
Global HR consultancy Towers Perrin announced this week the acquisition of Delphi Consultants, an SAP-focused HR specialist.
With over 9,000 employees and claiming 375 of the Fortune 500 as clients, Towers Perrin is one of the nationís largest HR consultancies. In acquiring Delphi, Towers Perrin gains technical expertise in HR systems and picks up prized larger clients like Motorola, BankOne, Anheuser-Busch, and Halliburton.
While terms for the acquisition were undisclosed, the deal is indicative of increasing general market interest in SAP expertise. Late last year, Nasdaq-traded Answerthink acquired SAP specialist Condor Solutions and UK-based Chelford Group bought SAP player Cleves Solutions, a division of Notability . Other recent transactions in the space have included Indian IT firm NIIT's purchase of US-based Osprey Systems , and Logica's purchase of Aussie SAP house eGlobal Pacific.
Kuhn Capital counts among its clients several large firms seeking to buy profitable SAP operators. Check out our Current Projects section for more information.
